Canadian Haunted Attractions Conference Announces ‘Easy as 1-2-3′ Contest

With all the Haunted Attraction tradeshows, conventions, and seminars that take place throughout the year, Rotting Flesh Radio loves to be at all of them helping our industry grow, promote it and most of all keep all you Deadites in the loop of all the events surrounding our beloved Haunt Season.

One of those events over the last few years has ventured away from the United States and launched a new breed of Haunting in Canada. The Canadian Haunted Attraction Conference has been growing with each year the event has taken place and it continues in 2012. Distortions Unlimited Gets Their Own Travel Channel Series in “MAKING MONSTERS”

The Travel Channel continues to keep Halloween alive for all us haunters each season. From covering Haunted Attractions in shows like ‘America Haunts’ to the All-New ‘Halloween Crazy’, they are also showing off many of our friends in the industry on the vendor side too.

Our friends over at Distortions Unlimited are getting their own Travel Channel Series in “MAKING MONSTERS”. This series will feature veteran Haunt Vendors, and friends to Rotting Flesh Radio, Ed and Marsha Edmunds in their workshop in Colorado. They will also be joined by Jordu Schell who specializes in creating those mad monsters we all love to run from.

Ed and Marsha have been guests on Rotting Flesh Radio many times and we have talked with them at a variety of conventions such as Transworld’s Haunt Show. This past year at the annual tradeshow, they showcased some new monsters that will be sure to terrify haunters this season. Jordu is one of Ed’s best workman and is best known in hollywood for his work on Cameron’s Avatar.

This limited season series on the Travel Channel, produced by Brian Leonard, will focus on Distortion’s Animatronics, Monsters and leading the way in the Haunted Attraction Industry for over 30 years. We will see how they are made, the process, and the final results in the scares haunts love to dish out using their products.

The series is going to give all of us in the Haunt Industry, Halloween Enthusiasts and curious Haunt Lovers a look into the industry we know and live all year long. The show will premiere as part of Travel Channel’s ‘Weekends To Die For’ this October.

The Haunted Industry’s Transworld Haunt Show Launches the 2012 Promo Video

Once the Haunt Season has wrapped, and the haunts are torn down, or boxed for the winter, every haunter takes a deep breath and sighs. It’s over. That’s when planning begins once again for both vendors and haunters. And this kicks off with the Annual Transworld Haunt Show.

Every year the Transworld event brings some of the top vendors, seminars, haunt tours and more to the table. This is the event where many haunters will attend only this tradeshow. And it is just that, a tradeshow. One thing Transworld is, is a buyers show. This is the place where many vendors will debut all-new products for the season, haunters and get fresh ideas, buy in bulk and most vendors gain 65% of their annual sales.

Darklight Systems is Now UL listed for United States and Canada

One thing many haunted attractions go through to open those doors for the first time each season is endless rounds with the Fire Marshall. This covers everything for extinguishers, to emergency exits, wiring and more. Many haunts have never seen the light of day due to Marshall not letting them open.

Well now you can at least set your mind at ease for one element of your event to the Marshall. The Evil Twins: Nick and Brian Wolfe Head To Austria

The Wolfe Brothers, Brian and Nick are no strangers to Rotting Flesh Radio. Over the years we have had some fun times with these guys, made some memories we shouldn’t share outloud and also witnessed some of the best Body Art ever seen in the Haunt Industry! So in their busy schedule, Rotting Flesh Radio will soon be seeing our good friends at the Fright Night Film Fest at the end of the month, but this weekend they boys are in Austria!

This weekend is the World Bodypainting Festival in Portschach, Austria from June 27th – July 3rd. This event is a worldwide phenom that draws only the best artists around and Nick and Brian are the guys to fit right in.

Dreadworks FX Famous Fast-Transfers Store Now Open
