Rotting Flesh Radio is a show that is made for you Deadites. And because of that we have a crew that digs for all the coverage, attends conventions, entertains you on he show, brings you guests and more. So now here is you chance to meet this motley crew that helps bring RFR to you each week since 2005.

THE MORTICIAN
The Mortician emerged in 2000 from the Dark Damp Labyrinth of the Morgue. A VooDoo Witch Doctor by trade, and Ghost Host by night he keeps the most morbid of parties entertaining and fun.

In 2005 as he prepared for the Halloween Season he decided it was time to go beyond his Annual Halloween Hootenanny and helped establish Rotting Flesh Radio as the Haunt Industry’s FIRST Weekly Broadcast of its kind. You can hear him every week on the show with his Intro and Sign Off making sure he has the “last word” for you Deadites to hear. Beware, because you never know when the Mortician will strike or surface at any event.

JONATHAN: Owner & The Voice
Jonathan, the Owner and Host of Rotting Flesh Radio, has been haunting for his whole life. From his early beginnings doing a Home Haunt, throwing Annual Halloween Parties and finally moving on to working the Pro-Haunt Arena. In the summer of 2005, while driving to the Midwest Haunters Convention, he had this idea to take hold of new technologies and find a way to keep Haunters, Halloween Enthusiasts, Horror Fans all connected in a fun and entertaining way. It was during that weekend he worked out the details with two fellow Haunters and the humble beginnings of Rotting Flesh Radio were born. As the months progressed he soon found himself leaving the haunt he was affiliated with and on October 5, 2005 the first RFR aired.

Since then Rotting Flesh Radio has grown with what has been dubbed as its “Army of Deadite Listeners” making the show grow each and every week. The show has continued to be the Official Media Sponsor for such events as: Midwest Haunters Convention Since 2006, HAuNTcon Since 2007, Transworld Haunt Show in 2007, and a variety of Horror, Haunt and other related fests, conventions and gatherings. You can find RFR Jonathan, and the Casket Crew vending at the RFR Morgue Booth at event, Tradeshows, Conventions and more. Jonathan has been a seminar speaker at many events on Marketing, Advertising and Design pulling in his daytime position as an Art Director and Graphic Designer.

Rotting Flesh Radio continues to evolve every week with the help of its listeners and Jonathan’s drive to make the show the best it can be. And with little Morbid Tidbits like its “Annual Haunt Tours” and its “Morbidly Merry Christmas Celebration” it remains fun, nostalgic and eccentric at times with Jonathan filling it with his vast array of entertainment from the 20s through today.

In 2008, Jonathan & RFR founded Costumes For Kids, a Charity for Children with Disabilities and those Less Fortunate to Celebrate Halloween.

In addition to Rotting Flesh Radio, Jonathan is an Art Director and Senior Graphic Designer for an Advertising Agency working with many high end sports clients, television stations and a variety of companies. His goal is to bring the very best show he can every week to you and make you “feel at home with friends” whether you are a newcomer to the Industry, a Vet or just curious, he wants you to direct the show that you want to hear. As he says, now it is time to: Sit Back, Relax and Rot Away…

BADGER: On-Air Correspondent & Photographer
Rotting Flesh Radio’s Rabid Badger has been working in haunted houses since he was in 5th grade when he modified his elementary school’s “Tunnel of Terror” by enlisting a friend to cut holes in the tunnel and grab at people with arms covered in ketchup. That simple addition to a lame school haunt convinced him that he could do great things in this industry. Since then he has been designing haunted houses and trails for his church and local VFD’s. In 2001, he visited Scarowinds Haunted Theme Park in Charlotte NC and the next year began acting there. Over the years he learned more about the business side of the industry while working alongside former RFR Casket Crew Member Jessica at Scarowinds. She introduced him to Rotting Flesh Radio in 2007 and was hooked from then on.

Badger become a Casket Crew Member in late 2007 by conducting an interview with the band PsychoCharger, whom he had been friends with for many years. In 2008 he attended his first Midwest Haunters Convention and finally met many of the people who make RFR successful in the rotting flesh. In 2007 Badger created the Charlotte Zombie Walk and has been a makeup artist and actor in two independent horror films, hosts a panel discussion on zombies at ConCarolinas and started Rabid Badger Haunt Consulting. In 2008 he became a certified “Hauntertainer” from Crazy Bob Turner’s “Hauntertainer U”.

Badger does many Voice Overs for RFR and other Attractions and Commercials. Contact him for your event or spot at his Spooky Voices. He also continues to an avid photographer for numberous events and the popular RFR Haunt Hotties.

CHUCK: Extra Dead Horror Game Reviews
Chuck the Freak (A.K.A Chuck N. Stein) lives in a small town that is not too terribly far from the cities (the exact location is unknown). Chuck’s main source of entertainment is Horror Movies and Video Games, which led to the creation of the Extra Dead Horror Video Game Review segment for his favorite podcast Rotting Flesh Radio.

Besides gaming and Horror movies, Chuck also enjoys drinking, eating fast food and hanging out with the um…ladies! Chuck’s day job consists of working at a brewery, “nothing like bringing work home with you!”. His favorite hang out spot is a video rental store run by Ned who is a friend of Chuck’s even though he considers Ned to be “flipping weird!”, the video store is also where Chuck rents most of his entertainment.

The real creator of the Extra Dead Horror Video Game Review Segment is actually named Chuck and is currently working as a actor at The Haunt at Valleyscare in Shakopee, Minnesota. Chuck has always been a gamer and officially discovered the Haunt Industry about 5 years ago. He is continually trying to figure out his place in the Industry and hopes to one day be part of running or owning a professional Haunted Attraction.

STORM: Bloody Blogger & Part-Time Correspondent
Storm’s instrest in Halloween stems from it is his Grandmother’s birthday. Currently in his 8th year as a professional haunter, starting his career at Spookyworld in it’s last 2 years in Foxboro, MA. From there he moved to his current haunt at Trails To Terror in Wakefield, RI. It is a hayride and walk through and Storm maintains the role of Marketing manager as part of the design and construction team.

Storm first uncovered the joy of Sitting Back, Relaxing and Rotting Away… to RFR after registering for the 2008 MHC. It was also there he attended the Hauntertainer U class with Crazy Bob (same graduating class as Badger). He extended all his Haunt and Horror experiences by reporting them back for you Deadites.

During the day Storm is running an office for an electrical contractor, but always is looking to expand in the haunt industry with new challenges at Trails To Terror, and staring up HauntRI.com. When he is not looking for a “Tunnel of Doom” in a haunt, he is one of our Bloody Bloggers for the RFR Homepage with Haunt, Horror and Humor Rants.

RFR CASKET CREW OF DAYS GONE BY:
Haunted Einstein: Team of Jonathan’s Haunt Mentors who did “Haunted Einstein’s Theories of Evilution”. This segment covered everything from basic knowledge for haunters to tips and tricks for you pros. Combined the team had decades of Haunting under them and were innovators with each haunt they ran. Haunted Einstein (aka Ron and Jon) retired from the Haunt Industry entirely in 2006. The final segment aired on Friday the 13th of that year.

The Doctor and Nurse Raven: The Doctor was the very first movie review person to Rotting Flesh Radio. Back then it was called the “RFR DVD Dungeon”. Twice a month he would be assisted with Nurse Raven and cover some of the most obscure films to cross our paths. The Doctor’s dry humor made for some moments when you wanted to laugh but hesitated and was thinking…did he just say that? The Doctor continues to be active in the Haunt Community with Haunted Attractions and you can still catch a glimpse of him in the TORS Video we have on the RFR YouTube Page. In 2007 The Doctor had too many surgies scheduled and had to step down from being part of the Casket Crew.

Jessica: Jessica was one of the first RFR Casket Crew to be an On-Air Correspondent. She worked actively in the Haunt Community. Was an avid actress and brought many interviews and event coverage to Deadites throughout the year. Jessica continues to wander the Haunt Scene but stepped down from RFR during the late part of 2007.

Omro: Following the surgical knives of The Doctor, Omro took over as the RFR Movie Review person in a bi-monthly segment re-named “The Chainsaw Buffet”. Omro covered more of the mainstream movies many of you Deadites attend in the theaters. He worked as one of the Bad Boys Scenic Design for Terror on the Fox for many years as an Actor, and Production Team Member. As Omro (aka Andrew) worked his years as a Haunter he was re-located to Nightmare New England by good friend of RFR, Tattoo. It was during this move and new direction within the Haunt Industry that Omro stepped down from the Chainsaw Buffet in Fall of 2008. You can still find Omro wandering the halls of many conventions and haunted attractions.

Chad Savage: Chad has a bio and reputation in the Haunt Industry that needs no introduction. As one of the Industry’s top Designers, there is a good chance two in every five websites you encounter for a haunt, he created. In the Fall of 2008, Chad took over the role of the Movie expert and made the segment it’s most popular to date with the “Mostly Ghostly: Movie and DVD Review”. Twice a month Chad stopped in with quirkly films, foreign masterpieces, mainstream flicks and rare DVD Releases. His review style and technique was well respected and loved by RFR Deadites. With the nature of Chad’s occupation, he had to remove himself from maintaining the segment because of time restraints. Chad can still be seen everywhere throughout the industry, and he remains as on On-Air Correspondent for the show and Major Sponsor.
