The 2010 Steampunk World’s Fair

During the Haunt Season of 2009, STEAMPUNK was bigger than ever. It was seen in haunts like The Scarehouse and even had a Haunted Attraction dedicated to it solely in the Steampunk Haunted House by Third Rail Projects.

Steampunk has been growing in culture, and its popularity, and RFR is even working on a Steampunk Mortician. Well it should come to no surprise then that the Steampunk World’s Fair is set in motion to get all your Steampunking Selves into action!

“The Steampunk World’s Fair will take place on May 14th-16th 2010, at the Radisson of Piscataway, in the lovely state of New Jersey. The site you’re visiting is an evolving entity, growing like an antediluvian beast rising up from the unfathomable deeps. Visit us often as we assemble our vast army of entertainments and amusements for you!”

Coming to us from Connecticut, we have historian and steampunk author/speaker G. D. Falksen.

Brigid Ashwood, a steampunk artist and sculptor of “winged things and improbable machines”.

To add to our music collection, we are bringing from New York the steam-goth band Platform one!

The Absinthe Drinkers have spawned catchy, original pop-funk-rock songs from works of literature both ancient and modern!
