It’s a good thing all the best horror movies took place years ago, because I wonder what kind of time our favorite horror icons would have with cell phones and text messages. Here are some text messages that would have ruined our favorite movies.

Help! Fire in boiler room! Door Locked!!! – Fred

There’s a psycho goalie in the woods with a knife. Get cops, bring a gun. – Crystal Lake Staff

Mina, lock the doors, have garlic bread with diner, and wait until dawn – Prof Van Helsing

Barbra, tell Ben and the others to aim for their heads we will be at the house soon – Sheriff’s Office

Frank, leave the puzzle box alone and get a hammer – Kirsty

Laurie, don’t open the door for 6 foot tall trick or theaters’ wearing a Shatner mask – Dr. Loomis
