The Nile’s Haunted House Scream Park Kicking the Casket Open this Weekend!

September 17, 2009 Halloween, Haunt Industry 2 Comments

Many Haunted Attractions are opening this weekend and Michiana’a largest haunted attraction is no exception. There you will find and uncover the spooky happenings at the Niles Haunted House Scream Park!

This weekend the attraction is kicking off its 2009 haunt season with more thrills than ever before. With its combination of all things creepy, scary and blood-curdling terror within the attractions on site the haunt takes you on a trip through their unique blend of terror. You can take a journey in the Field of Screams and more. And best of all it goes for a great cause.

“The park raises money for a wide variety of local charities. In 2008, it generated more than $104,000 for Michiana area communities, a significant portion of which went to more than 80 not-for-profit organizations such as Boy and Girl Scout groups, church youth groups and booster groups for colleges and high schools.” This is a great way to give back to the community that supports your scares every year. In addition in 2008, Niles also welcomed their 1,100,000 guest to the park with that number to drastically increase this year. On Sunday, October 12, 2008, Nathan Breland of Michigan was welcomed as that prized guest.

This year Niles has a variety of attractions to keep you scared including:
Redneck Revengence

London Screams, After Midnight

Dark Terror-tory Haunted Hayride

Field of Screams with Maniac Maze

Zendor Presents: Contacting the Dead – Do You Dare?

Midway of the Macabre

Howlin’ Fun Food Concessions

Gore Store

Psychic Readings

So if you are in Michigan this haunt season and want to get your fright fix, stop by the largest haunt in Michiana, The Niles Scream Park. For more information be sure to see their dates, times, attractions and more at: www.Haunted.org

This will be the second year my girlfriend and I attend the haunt; very much looking forward to it! Last year one of our favorite things was the Hayride. It wasn’t very scary; it was more fun and thrilling (my girlfriend was hit with a pillow corpse in the grave yard scene).

  2. Always a fun event! Let us know how this year goes.
